Carer Involvement and Consultation Meetings
Health, Family Services and Voluntary Sector organisations need to hear the views of carers to enable them to improve services and to hear what needs to happen to continue to support Service Users and Carers effectively.
Carers Forum
The Carers Forum is held on a quarterly basis and will give you the opportunity to share ideas about what is important to support carers of all ages. It is a chance to help us improve local services for carers. If you are interested in attending the Forum, please contact Jeanette Schofield on: (01924) 307785.
Carers Delivery Group (Supported by the Wakefield Learning Disability Partnership Board)
- Do you care for a young person or adult with a learning disability?
- Do you feel that you've often struggled to get support for your son or daughter?
- Would you be interested in using your experience to improve things for people that are going through a similar situation?
The Carers Delivery Group needs you!
The group meets on Thursday mornings roughly every 6 weeks at Sandal Rugby Club, starting at 10.30am.
Please come along to one of our meetings. Enjoy a chat with other carers over a tea or coffee... and get involved!
